About Our Client Our client is a well respected, financially stable builder based in Brisbane. They take huge pride in their high quality workmanship, relationship building, and sustainable business growth. They are looking to add a new Site Manager to their team. The initial project will be a major commercial refurbishment project in Far North Queensland. Accommodation will be provided, and the expectation will be for the candidate to be based in Cairns throughout the duration of the project, with flights back to Brisbane available every 3/4 weeks. Job Description Key responsibilities include:Day to day management and coordination of sub-contractors on siteEnsuring a safe site at all timesQuality control and defect minimisationWorking closely with the Project Manager to ensure project deadlines are met The Successful Applicant Selection criteria will include:QBCC Site Supervisor licence (or ability to obtain one at relatively short notice)Good level of computer literacy (Procore preferred but not critical)Trade background preferred (carpentry)Track record of delivering commercial projects up to $25m What's on Offer On offer:A competitive salary, expected to be in the range of $160-180k + super (subject to experience/skill level)Long term, secure employment with a highly stable businessAccommodation provided for project duration Living away from home allowanceFlights back to south east Queensland every 3/4 weeks #J-18808-Ljbffr
