The RoleIn this hands-on role you will execute the site's daily and weekly priorities and directly lead the team members onsite, ensuring they are trained and competent to perform duties across all areas of operation including but not limited to harvest receivals, grain classification, stack building, tarping, site hygiene, grain outturn including road and rail operations and general bunker operations. You will ensure work priorities are safety executed whilst maintaining a focus on quality and cost controls.This role provides a competitive salary package, performance incentive bonus and other benefits that come from working in partnership with Aussie growers and a global business.Key AccountabilitiesExecute routine operations of assigned area, ensuring direct reports are following policies and procedures related to employee, food and feed safety and environmental compliance.Monitor production outcomes, quantity, and quality to ensure customer and food safety requirements are within specifications.Partner with production supervisors to meet customer specifications and timeline.Administer production budget for a department, process, or shift and execute purchase orders and ensure timely payment of invoices.Develop operational plans and monitor routine operations for all production processes for multiple departments, processes and shifts.Develop, supervise and provide coaching to direct reports including coaching company core values and guiding principles for assigned facilities or region.Responsible for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance and disciplinary actions for your direct reports.
