Overview:As a Site Foreman for our esteemed building company, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the construction of residential projects from start to finish. You will be responsible for managing on-site activities, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:

Project Management: Oversee all aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation, to ensure timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
On-Site Supervision: Lead and supervise on-site construction activities, including coordinating subcontractors, directing laborers, and monitoring progress to ensure work is completed according to specifications and safety regulations.
Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality control procedures to maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and company policies.
Safety Compliance: Promote and maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols, conducting regular site inspections, addressing hazards, and providing ongoing training to workers.
Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between the construction team, project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, issues, and resolutions.
Problem Solving: Identify and address any issues or challenges that arise during construction, such as design discrepancies, material shortages, or unforeseen site conditions, and implement effective solutions to minimize delays and disruptions.
Material Management: Coordinate the delivery, storage, and inventory of construction materials and equipment to ensure adequate supply and minimize waste.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of on-site activities, including daily progress reports, inspection logs, change orders, and subcontractor agreements, to support project documentation and billing processes.
Team Development: Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to on-site staff and subcontractors, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment and promoting professional development and skill enhancement.
Client Relations: Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and inspectors to address any concerns, answer questions, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the construction process.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a site foreman or construction supervisor, preferably in residential construction (preferred).
Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and blueprints.
OSHA certification and other relevant training in safety and construction management (preferred).
Valid driver's license.
