We have an exciting opportunity for a Site Engineer (Civil) to join our team in the South West Sydney Region. As a Site Engineer, you will work as part of our Site Management team to plan and manage elements of our construction projects. You will develop your knowledge of key construction areas including quality management, planning and programming of future works, forecasting, cost tracking, safety, and production progress.
We have a strong portfolio of works with multiple projects underway across Sydney's Northwest and Southwest, Hunter, and Illawarra regions. This role is based in the South West Sydney Region, requiring travel to job sites across the area.
In this position, you will be: Developing a thorough understanding of drawings, specifications, and quality, WHS and environmental requirements for all site-related activities.Supporting the implementation of the project quality, WHS, and environmental management plans on all projects.Assisting with daily project monitoring for toolbox inspections, checklists, documentation, and record keeping.Assisting with the monitoring and updating of the construction program and site activity.Ensuring materials are procured in advance of the requirements of the construction program.Assisting in monitoring daily work activities to maximize the utilization of plant and resources.Implementing improvements for managing site-related costs.We are looking for someone who has: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.Previous experience in a similar role.Commitment to health, safety, environment, and quality policies and procedures.Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.Strong relationship-building, influencing, and negotiation skills.Confident in the use of Microsoft Office Suite. We are an Office 365 environment and use Salesforce as our CRM.Desire to be part of a "can do", vibrant, and dynamic team.Pride yourself on providing a professional and timely service to meet deadlines.Excellent time management and organization skills with the ability to multi-task.A commitment to learning and ongoing professional development.A valid Construction White Card.A valid Driver's Licence, with the ability to travel across sites.Your success is our success: we invest in our people with opportunities for you to keep learning and growing.
