We are experts in our field, and we are passionate about mining.What you'll do:This is a site-based position, shared between two of our major iron ore project sites around Newman, ideally on a 2:1 roster. We're looking for someone to oversee, support and promote our clients culture program, which is all about supporting a positive culture and promoting wellbeing. The program is well established, but we need someone to lead it - you will be responsible for planning new initiatives, promoting events and participating in ongoing training and development.The program was designed to create a high-performance culture, build a collaborative network and foster a safe and inclusive environment. Some of your day-to-day will include:Promote emotional, physical and social well-being of all team members.Encourage participation in the program and promote relevant program behaviours.Support organisational effectiveness and continuous improvement.Participate in the program's forums, meetings and training.Assist with planning and rollout of new program initiatives.Track the project's health and provide feedback to the projects and studies management teams.About You:Degree or equivalent in OHS or related discipline or a related field can provide the necessary knowledge and understanding of workplace safety principles and regulations.Formal leadership and mentor training.Familiarity with various coaching techniques and models that will provide a framework for guiding individuals toward behavioural change in line with the program.Effective communication skills by being able to listen actively, ask probing questions, and provide feedback in a clear and concise manner.Knowledge and understanding of HSE legislative requirements, including psychosocial hazards and knowledge of the new Work Health and Safety (WHS) legislation.About WSP | CalibreWSP | Calibre is a leading global engineering and project delivery business to the mining sector.
