The opportunity
Silverchain are seeking an Accounting Officer to join the Group Finance team on a permanent fulltime basis. This hybrid role will be based at our Osborne Park with the flexibility to also work from home. You will be a numbers whizz who can efficiently and accurately reconcile bank accounts and assist with month end reporting processes, and assist the business with funding claims and regulatory reporting processes.

Key responsibilities
Accurately and efficiently reconcile trading bank accounts and term deposits Prepare and assist with end of month processes Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements Maintain required financial records, systems and databases Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
About you

Previous experience or relevant qualifications (or working towards) are desirable Advanced computer skills, including MS Office Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills to deliver a fantastic and efficient service Strong attention to detail, and excellent organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently, as well as part of a dynamic team Eager to learn, and maintain knowledge of accounting best practices and regulations Must be an Australian citizen or a permanent resident, or be able to provide evidence of working rights in Australia
