We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced House Manager to join our team and manage one of our Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes.
Position Overview: The House Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the SIL home, ensuring that residents receive personalized care and support in accordance with their NDIS plans.
This role involves managing staff, maintaining the home environment, and fostering a positive, supportive community for our residents.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee the delivery of personalised support plans for residents Recruit, train, and supervise support staff Manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage Ensure compliance with NDIS standards and regulations Maintain accurate records and documentation Manage household budgets, supplies, and maintenance Implement health and safety protocols Coordinate with external service providers Facilitate regular meetings with residents, families, and staff Develop and implement programs and activities that promote residents' well-being Foster a positive and inclusive community atmosphere Qualifications: Previous experience in disability support, preferably in a managerial role Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent organisational and time-management abilities Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Compassionate and empathetic approach to care Understanding of NDIS policies and procedures Current Police Check Workers Screening Check Working with Children Check Certificate III in Individual Support/ Certificate IV in Disability or equivalent Current First Aid/CPR NDIS Worker Orientation Modules If you are passionate about making a difference and meet the qualifications above, we would love to hear from you!
