We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced House Manager to join our team and manage one of our Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes.
Position Overview: The House Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the SIL home, ensuring that residents receive personalized care and support in accordance with their NDIS plans. This role involves managing staff, maintaining the home environment, and fostering a positive, supportive community for our residents.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee the delivery of personalised support plans for residentsRecruit, train, and supervise support staffManage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverageEnsure compliance with NDIS standards and regulationsMaintain accurate records and documentationManage household budgets, supplies, and maintenanceImplement health and safety protocolsCoordinate with external service providersFacilitate regular meetings with residents, families, and staffDevelop and implement programs and activities that promote residents' well-beingFoster a positive and inclusive community atmosphereQualifications: Previous experience in disability support, preferably in a managerial roleStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent organisational and time-management abilitiesEffective communication skills, both written and verbalStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesCompassionate and empathetic approach to careUnderstanding of NDIS policies and proceduresCurrent Police CheckWorkers Screening CheckWorking with Children CheckCertificate III in Individual Support/ Certificate IV in Disability or equivalentCurrent First Aid/CPRNDIS Worker Orientation ModulesIf you are passionate about making a difference and meet the qualifications above, we would love to hear from you!
