An exciting opportunity for an experienced Signalling Electrician to join Ventia, (placed #3 in the AFR BOSS Best Places to Work – Property, Construction and Transport Sector) in a permanent position on the Brisbane Airport Rail Link.

In this role you will perform inspections, assessments and maintenance of the track and associated equipment to maintain the safety and integrity of the Brisbane Airport Rail Link for safe passenger trains. Duties include:
Maintenance of engineering systems, plant, equipment and depot facilitiesRoutine inspections, maintenance and repair activities on signalling, electrical and mechanical infrastructureAttending to failures including identifying and reporting on cause of failureResponding to after-hours signalling, electrical and mechanical call outs to system failures and incidents affecting train servicesAssisting with developing improvement maintenance plans, technical instructions, and procedures to improve productivityProviding on-the-job assistance and knowledge to other team members Required Skills and Experience Unrestricted Electrical Workers licence / Electrical mechanics Licence QLDCurrent CPR LVRCert IV in Railway signallingConstruction white cardRail Safety Worker Category 2Must be able to be on call on alternating weekends.
