In this role you will perform inspections, assessments and maintenance of the track and associated equipment to maintain the safety and integrity of the Brisbane Airport Rail Link for safe passenger trains. Duties include
Maintenance of engineering systems, plant, equipment and depot facilitiesRoutine inspections, maintenance and repair activities on signalling, electrical and mechanical infrastructureAttending to failures including identifying and report on cause of failureRespond to after hours signalling, electrical and mechanical call outs to system failures and incidents affecting train servicesAssist with developing improvement maintenance plans, technical instructions and procedures to improve productivityProvide on the job assistance and knowledge to other team members Required Skills and Experience Unrestricted Electrical Workers licence / Electrical mechanics Licence QLDCurrent CPR LVRCert IV in Railway signallingConstruction white cardRail Safety Worker Category 2Must be able to be on call on alternating weekends.
