We use Systems Engineering combined with Modelling, Simulation and Analysis to help our clients define, analyse, decide, optimise, and deliver technology-intensive projects in complex environments across Defence, Space, Transport, Infrastructure and Energy.
How will you contribute?You will be responsible for providing technical leadership and working collaboratively as a member of a project team.
Specifically, you will:
spearhead the research of novel signal processing algorithms and technologies, and collaborate with stakeholders to design solutions for radar technologies,work with simulated and system data to implement and test algorithms,work with various teams to test new algorithms in trials,guide and upskill colleagues in signal processing techniques.Your background?experience in developing signal processing algorithms within high fidelity simulations or real time applications,demonstrated experience in algorithm design, integration, verification and debugging,experience defining stakeholder problems and framing them as analytical problems which can be solved in the required timeframes,knowledge of radar systems,broad experience in signal processing methodologies for phased array radar systems and awareness of conventional electronic attack and protection techniques,a sound understanding of frequency and time domain filtering techniques,experience in using MATLAB, Python, C++, CUDA, Git and the Git workflow,experience in software engineering and development.Essential Qualifications:Bachelor of Engineering in a relevant disciplineOR
A bachelor's degree in science (preferably physics), mathematics or statistics, data science, computer science, or similar field.
Special requirements: Applicants are required to be Australian Citizens and be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance at NV1 level.
International export control regulations are applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
