Si Clean Energy is part of a family business group that is a privately held national renewable energy company based in Coffs Harbour, NSW. First established in 1989, we are currently seeking an experienced electronics technician to become an integral member of our service team.
A permanent full time position based in Coffs Harbour NSW is available for immediate start. The successful applicant will report directly to our Service Manager. The role includes interesting and varied technical work as applicable to renewable energy, inverters, energy storage systems and energy monitoring systems
Specific tasks required:
Workshop test and repair of inverters, charge controllers, and associated electronics. Field test and repair of solar power systems Extensive hands on maintenance and troubleshooting Supporting the development and improvement of the Si Clean Energy installation teams Liaise with manufacturer's service and engineering team Develop technical support notes Data collection and entry for job details and invoicing Documentation and auditing of client jobs and projects Warranty service and admin for Si Clean Energy solar installations Assist clients with telephone and email technical support Participate in product training programs Experience required:
Experience in customer service roles Technical knowledge of products and services within the solar industry Strong photovoltaic skills Great problem solving capability and ability to develop creative solutions Excellent communication skills, written and verbal Demonstrate willingness to accept responsibility A determined and positive attitude with a passion for electronics Ability to work independently to deadlines Proven track record of working well within a team environment Desire to expand skills Australian driver's license The successful applicant will be highly organised, self-motivated, proactive and flexible, with the ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment.
