As our Specialist, you will support the coordination and completion of GCA activities, ranging from reporting for the Board & ExCO to preparing and coordinating audit programs.
Lead the SH&W component of the Self Insurance Program; critical to maintaining Company Self Insurance Licences across the nation. To enable our evolving Ecosystem, along with our approach to Agile home and delivery teams, it will assist enhancing our existing approach to a risk-based assurance program across the Group.
Support, and where required, lead governance activities including board and executive level reporting, with the ability to continually drive improvements to strengthen governance across the ecosystemLead with support from BU Assurance teams and the InjuryCare team, the SH&W component of the company self insurance audit programDevelop and maintain relationships with OHS regulators across the country to support self insurance requirementsManage and oversee OHS regulatory matters to ensure timely action across the company (i.e., compliance notices, enforceable undertakings)Where needed, support the GCA Capability lead in Merger, Acquisition and Integrations and new business development, as Woolworths continues to evolve its ecosystemWhat you'll bring Knowledge of Governance and/or Assurance systems and their practical implementation as well as a solid understanding of OHS legal frameworksStrong writing skills required to lead coordination and development of Board & People committee SH&W reports, deep dives, and monthly ExCO reportsA minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in developing and deploying governance and assurance programsA strong background in complex, fast-moving organisationsExposure and an understanding of self-insurance and safety systems would be desirableWhat you'll experience The opportunity to grow within the groupStrong mentorship and development; an opportunity to collaborate with some of the brightest and best minds in AustraliaHybrid working arrangementsUnparalleled growth opportunitiesGet your Woolies worth through team member benefits across all of our brandsWe are Woolworths Group
