The Opportunity CITIC Pacific Mining is looking for an experienced Shot Crew to join our Cape Preston Mining Operations Team.
The Shot Crew position is on a 2/1, days only roster, on a permanent basis FIFO from Perth.
Reporting to the Supervisor – Drill & Blast, you will be responsible for all blasting activities, from pattern mark up to assisting with shot initiation.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
Adhering to safe work procedures and closely following instructions given by the shot firerAll required duties relating to Drill and Blast Activities such as Blast Guard Duties, Sampling, Bit Sharpening, and Training as requiredWe're looking for motivated team players with good communication skills, numeracy skills and a 'can-do' attitude, as well as:
A Current C class WA driver's licence (HR preferred)Dangerous Goods Security Card (DGSC) requiredForklift ticket (desirable)Loader experience (desirable)Good understanding of computers and ability to pick up new systems quicklyExcellent time management skills with the ability to work well as part of a team or work autonomously as requiredA copy of all current qualifications / licences must be provided at the time of interview.
