Team Leaders/Supervisors (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)Full timeApplications are invited for the position of Shift Supervisor to join the MSF Sugar team on a full-time permanent basis. This opportunity is located at our South Johnstone Mill, which is located 15 minutes from Innisfail.The Shift Supervisor is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the factory during our 24/7 seasonal crushing operations. The Shift Supervisor will manage a small team of shift personnel and will guide, lead and support process operators and tradespeople in the factory.The Responsibilities:Some of the key responsibilities will include:Supervising a team of shift personnel including managing timesheets, overtime, coverage and complianceEnsuring safe and efficient factory operations including startup and shutdowns, addressing breakdowns, and regular checks through workstationsAddress any issues with weighbridge and tracking systemLiaise with cane department and operator to deal with any issues and reduce downtimeFollow maintenance plans for maintenance stopsReport any issues in shift logEnsure appropriate paperwork and reports are completedThe successful applicant will have:Trade Qualifications (Mechanical or Electrical)Experience on shift in a senior roleSteam turbine ticket (TA)Demonstrated troubleshooting abilityGood leadership skillsIt would be advantageous that you have:Sugar milling experience and understanding of milling operationsHigh Risk Advanced Boiler Ticket (BA)Overhead Gantry QualificationsOther qualifications or prescribed occupational training such as a loader, forklift, dogger would be advantageous.CultureMost importantly the candidate will be able to demonstrate how they work within the MSF Sugar company values of:IntegrityTrustworthinessCare and AccountabilityWe are proud of the MSF Sugar culture as it is key to the company's significant growth and low employee turnover.What we offerGreat Team CulturePartner DiscountsStrong Safety FocusCompany Uniforms and PPE SuppliedEmployee Health and Assistance ProgramsOur CompanyMSF Sugar is a leading agribusiness company – we are an integrated grower, processor, marketer and exporter of raw sugar and supplier of renewable energy.
