SUMMARY OF THE ROLEWe are seeking a SHEQ Manager who is ready to embark on an exciting new career journey with Mammoet.
This position will be based from our Henderson head office with an expectation of frequent travel.
This role is ideal for a strategic leader with strong foundations within the mining industry and extensive expertise in SHEQ practices with an emphasis on managing safety disciplines within the business.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving safety initiatives and overseeing SHEQ disciplines across the organization, ensuring the highest standards of compliance and risk management.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOINGLeading and coaching the SHEQ workforce whilst defining and managing KPI'sPlanning the SHEQ workforce schedules in accordance with client needsDeveloping, establishing and managing SHEQ budgets and acquiring approval in line with relevant strategy, policies and proceduresParticipating in SHEQ projects to implement new or improved systems, procedures and processesCoordinating and overseeing investigationsProviding SHEQ reports with correct and useful SHEQ critical business indicators whilst gathering statistics to monitor trendsMaintaining and upholding industry-leading SHEQ standards in our facilities and work locations whilst pioneering Mammoet's own life-saving rulesConducting and overseeing safety inspections and trainingWHAT YOU'LL NEEDProven experience as a SHEQ manager preferably within the Mining, Construction, Transport or Heavy Lifting industryDemonstrated ability to work autonomously whilst demonstrating leadership and initiativeWillingness to travel frequently in line with business requirementsMinimum Cert IV in Workplace Health & SafetyCurrent Valid Australian Driver's LicenseLeadership/Management/Supervisor course – DesirableWHAT YOU'LL GETCompetitive renumeration package along with access to a company vehicleJoin our Rewards & Recognition program for monthly, quarterly, and annual prizesAccess to Mammoet's Employee Assistance ProgramPromote our values of Love the Work, Take Care, Perform as a Team, Results Count and Be responsibleJoin a team where everyone matters, you have the opportunity to push the limits of your expertise and be an important member of a close-knit community of professionalsWANT TO KNOW MORE?If you feel this role is for you, please click the "Apply" link to start your application - We look forward to hearing from you and starting the pathway to your career with Mammoet!
