Shaw Contracting (Aust) Pty Ltd is a leading provider of Civil, Building, and Mining Contracting services based in Tasmania. With a strong order book across Tasmania, we are looking to appoint a Project Manager with civil infrastructure/civil roads experience based in either Launceston or Hobart, reporting to the Project Delivery Manager.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on major civil engineering projects across the General Infrastructure sector delivering major projects.
About the role You will drive business objectives to ensure that Shaw succeeds and delivers for the client.
About you A bachelor's and/or master's degree in construction management, Project Management, Engineering, or a related discipline Proven experience as a Project Manager, demonstrating successful project delivery Strong background in project management methodologies and best practices In-depth understanding of quality management processes A commitment to maintaining and improving safety standards in project environments Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills The role will assume full accountability and responsibility for project deliverables and will have an absolute commitment to safety, quality, and compliance.
