About the Role
As a Quality Manager, you will play a pivotal role in improving and developing quality management systems. Collaborating cross-functionally with all departments, you will ensure the seamless delivery of quality production and service while adhering to regulatory requirements and fostering continuous improvement in quality processes.
In this role, you will enhance the Food Safety Plan and Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with standards such as HACCP and BRC. You will lead quality initiatives, support operations, coach QC staff, and address challenges. Responsibilities include overseeing audits, maintaining compliance, managing QA documentation, and driving process improvements. Additionally, you will manage customer complaints, foster team collaboration, conduct training, and prepare management reports to uphold high-quality standards.
Skills and Experience Tertiary qualifications in Food Technology Minimum 5 years' experience or similar within the food manufacturing industry. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Internal and external audit experience. Ability to implement HACCP, Food Safety, GMP and GFSI systems essential. Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to quality issues Exceptional organization and time management skills. Ability to work well under pressure with limited supervision. Excellent leadership skills with demonstrated ability to achieve results.
