As a SharePoint and Power Platform Consultant, you will be engaging with our internal clients to build existing and purposeful business solutions. Working with our National IT team, you will read functional specifications from our business analysts to create solutions for our internal clients. Solutions will be dynamic and can involve one or more Microsoft Power platform functions, including functionality like SharePoint and Power Apps.
Key Responsibilities:

Elicit and analyze business requirements, develop designs, and implement SharePoint and Power Platform solutions.
Development and deployment of applications on the Microsoft 365 platform, including SharePoint, MS Teams, and Power Platform.
Experience in developing SharePoint Online Collaboration and Team site solutions using SharePoint Framework and .NET.
Experience in migrating SharePoint On-Premises (2019 version) sites to SharePoint Online.
Plan and execute SharePoint migration plans, and migrate data from legacy systems (including previous versions of SharePoint) to SharePoint Online.
Configure and customize Power Platform environments, including data sources, security, and roles.
Implement M365 governance, including implementation of provisioning frameworks and Power Platform Centre of Excellence (CoE).
Design and implement cutting-edge solutions with the latest features and functionality in Microsoft 365.
Produce high quality project documentation (functional designs, solution designs, as built).
Produce training material and deliver training to various audiences.
Run effective workshops and deliver presentations to our customers.
Be a point of escalation for all IT support teams.
Ensure site SLA's on support issues are kept.
Work outside normal hours where necessary.
Travel to other RSM offices as necessary.

Education Requirements:
Essential: Relevant Tertiary qualification in IT or Business.
Demonstrated Experience & Attributes:
Essential:

2-5 years experience in a software or data engineering role.
Microsoft certified Power Platform Developer Associate.
Experience with Web APIs (Rest, Soap).
Strong SQL skills.
Experience with Azure Cloud (Data Factory).
Ability to work under pressure in short periods of time.
Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously as well as with a team.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Knowledge and understanding of trends and developments in I.T.
A willingness to work flexible hours.
