Primary Objective: Ensure the effective and efficient delivery of sexual assault services in the form of counselling; an integrated crisis response; advocacy; education and training; and capacity building. The Sexual Assault Referral Centre provides an acute crisis response service and long-term support for people affected by sexual violence. This position is for a practitioner with skills in the provision of counselling services to children and young people.
As a part of this role, the counsellor will participate in the child abuse taskforce meetings and acute on-call response.
