As our sustained growth continues, we are looking for an experienced and proven Services Manager to contribute to our ongoing growth. You will be experienced with project coordination for commercial construction projects and supporting the delivery of building services design, installation, and commissioning.
What you'll do:Lead the delivery of cost-effective services construction per project design and delivery briefDrive compliance with all safety, quality, design, authority and building code requirementsPartner with internal stakeholders to procure services consultants and subcontractorsMeet all client requirements by way of services packages in head and subcontractsEnsure that all project documentation meets brief and procurement requirementsPursue application of relevant green building / sustainability rating requirementsProject manage work of subcontractors for installation of services packagesOversee programs / job plans, adjusting as required to meet the scheduleCreate and manage services design and pertaining procurement programGovern rectification of issues raised by external and internal stakeholdersManage assessment of sub-contractor claims and recommend approvalSupervise the rectification of services defects by subcontractorsDeliver monthly reporting for services installation progressIdentify new technologies for improving operationsAbout you:Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical), or equivalent trade background6 to 10+ years' relevant industry experience in services engineering, consulting, or coordinationPrior Tier 1 or 2 builder experience on large commercial building services projectsThorough understanding and practical knowledge of the NCC / BCA and relevant building services requirementsSound construction knowledge and understanding of building / construction tradesExtensive experience coordinating services subcontractors / consulting engineersWell versed with quality and safety requirements on construction projectsExposure to pursuits as part of the bidding processWell-developed planning, project management, client management, negotiation, collaboration, interpersonal and communication skillsHow you'll benefit:5-day work week (exception of Site Managers/Supervisors who work 10 days in 14, with every other Saturday off)Investment in training with the aim to have the best trained workforce in the industryFree health assessments for all staffPaid parental leave for both primary and secondary care giversFast-tracked career development opportunities and support our staff through mentoring, workshops and retreatsIndustry-leading internal communication channels to break down silos across sites, allowing staff to share ideas, lessons learnt and other resources.Kapitol values diversity and aims to build an inclusive environment that champions, embraces, and respects differences.
