Expressions of Interest Proposed 2/2 RosterWe are currently looking to enhance the rosters that are on offer across our Area C mine site, on the Traditional Lands of the Banjima People in Western Australia's Pilbara. We are currently exploring the opportunity to move our Mining Production teams from a 2/1 roster to a 2 week on, 2 week off, 12-hour day and night shift FIFO roster to start in 2025. This means more days at home to enjoy doing what you love.
The outstanding facilities at the FIFO village include; a fully equipped gym, swimming pool, netted cricket pitch, tennis and basketball court, beach volleyball court and recreation room including a pool table, darts, table tennis, TV and DVD player.
About the OpportunityTo support this proposed change, Area C Mobile Equipment Maintenance teams are seeking expressions of interest from experienced individuals interested in joining our world-class operation on the proposed 2/2 roster combination as Technician Service Support.
We are looking to engage with experienced and entry-level Technicians. You will be responsible for monitoring, inspecting and maintaining Equipment in line with the preventative maintenance strategies.
Technicians with mechanical equipment knowledge that drive the frontline application of "Five Rs" of lubrication (Right Type, Quantity, Quality, Location, Time) will be highly regarded.
We also welcome applications from people new to mining, mechanically minded and keen to build a career in mining. Extensive training will be provided to the right motivated candidates. The core focus of this role is to conduct preventative inspections and corrective actions arising from condition-based inspections.
Key ResponsibilitiesOil change out and samplingChecking and filling lubricant & hydraulic tanksFilter change out and lubrication system maintenanceBreather maintenance and replacementLubrication system top-up and maintenance and oil analysisMinimum RequirementsTo be considered for this position, you will ideally have the following:
Technically minded and interested in working in a 'hands-on' role.Mining or heavy industrial/manufacturing experience would be highly regardedExperience with completing lubrication inspections, changing oil and taking oil samples, greasing and lubricating equipment is advantageousBasic Lubrication Course highly desirableForklift Licence/EWP is an advantage but can be providedPlease note to be considered, you must hold all relevant licenses that are applicable to your skillset as well as a valid full class C drivers licence.
