Service Technician

Our client, a family owned and operated business, who holds various private and government contracts throughout the Sunraysia, Riverland and Broken Hill areas, is now searching for a Service Technician to join their team. This position will involve installation/commissioning, breakdown, preventative maintenance of automatic doors and manual commercial entry systems. While experience in this industry is desirable, extensive onsite training will be provided. If you have mechanical aptitude or a background in electronics or computer hardware this might be the role for you! Day-to-day duties will include:Accurate record-keeping relating to maintenance and repairs. Completing daily tasks while providing a high level of customer service. Conducting Mechanical/Electrical maintenance and servicing of automatic doors, swing doors, roller shutters and garage doors. Skills and qualifications which will assist your success:Current driver's licence, preferably manually. A Construction Induction Card (White Card). A current Police Check or willingness to obtain. A Working with Children Check or the ability to obtain. In this position, you will be working on a rotating on-call roster, as well as having the potential for overtime.
