The role We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Mechanic / Heavy Diesel Fitter to join our busy Kalgoorlie Workshop. We are open to considering Mechanics / Fitters from all industries who are ready to contribute to our dynamic team.
As a Service Technician, your primary responsibilities will include performing pre-delivery (equipment preparations) inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on a range of mining equipment and subcomponents. You will report to the Workshop Supervisor and work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
Key tasks include: Delivery of brand-new machinery to customers across Australia.Complete machine rebuilds.Component rebuilds.Supporting the latest technologies, such as autonomous machinery, battery-electric systems, and remote monitoring equipment.Your profile Previous experience working on a variety of mining equipment (Sandvik equipment would be an advantage).
Excellent communication skills. Good attitude with a strong work ethic and focus on safety.
