The Team:
New Norfolk Community nursing is a part of the Sub-acute Aged and community nursing service (SAACS) for Tasmanian health service (THS). The New Norfolk team provides high quality nursing care in the rural community setting, with a strong teamwork approach, working with clients, carers and their families to deliver excellence in nursing in their environment achieving their goals in health care.
The Role:
Provide efficient administrative and reception services to support the Community Health Nursing Service, utilising a range of software packages and office equipment, in accordance with established Agency policy, guidelines and procedures.
You will need:
Demonstrated skills in understanding contemporary office administration practices, including the ability to provide confidential, high quality administrative support in a client focused environment. Sound knowledge of, and experience in, the use of a broad range of software packages and information systems, including word processing, spreadsheets and databases and the ability to quickly become adept in the use of new systems. Well-developed interpersonal skills, including oral and written communications skills, appropriate to undertaking administrative and reception duties in a health service environment. Details of appointment:
Permanent, full time, day worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $66,049 to $70,993 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022. Salary Packaging:
You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
