The Child Health and Parenting Service (CHaPS) provides important health and wellbeing services to families across Tasmania with children aged 0 to 5.
The service promotes the healthy development and wellbeing of children, providing growth and developmental assessments, health-focused early intervention, referrals, and connections with other early childhood service providers.
The Role: In accordance with Agency policies, procedures, and guidelines, the Administrative Assistant will provide a high level of administrative and clerical support to staff and clients to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of services within Child Health and Parenting Service (CHaPS).
You will need: Knowledge of, and experience in, the use of a broad range of software packages and information systems, including word processing and spreadsheets, and the ability to quickly become adept in the use of new systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, together with the ability to relate to other staff and work within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Ability to manage and prioritise own work to meet required objectives on time and monitor performance to ensure quality assurance standards are maintained.

Details of appointment: Fixed term, full time, day worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 31 December 2025.
Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full-time, part-time, and casual vacancies.
$66,049 to $70,993 per annum (Pro rata).
Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
