Service Receptionist / Advisor - 2 positions (Hobart) Receptionists (Administration & Office Support) Full time Add expected salary to your profile for insights Following a review of our structure/hours of work arrangements we are looking to recruit two Service Receptionist/Service Advisors to join our Hobart operations in newly created positions. The Service Receptionist/Advisors will join our existing teams providing additional support as we continue to deliver the highest level of service and customer satisfaction at every step of the service process. The primary responsibility of the Service Receptionist/Advisor will be to greet and assist customers, maintain a high level of communication throughout the service process, provide a point of contact between the customer and technicians, and ensure that each vehicle is returned to the owner in optimal condition, all while prioritising a positive customer experience.The role is a customer facing position located in our service area - we are open to considering applications for either customer receptionist or service advisor depending on skills and experience (with pay rate to be determined accordingly). This role does not require prior mechanical knowledge, as we provide comprehensive training to equip you with the necessary skills required to be successful in this role. That said, appropriate trade qualifications (automotive) will be a significant advantage. The positions are full-time positions, however unlike most Service Receptionist/Advisor roles the requirement for overtime will be limited.Daily Key ResponsibilitiesWarmly welcome and assist customers as they arrive at our service centre.Complete a structured check-in process and gather any additional information on the customer's vehicle concerns and service needs.Explain the service process for the day, including confirming timelines for collection.Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicles during the day with any additional services required with the information provided by our trained technicians.Complete the check-out process, where you will explain the invoice and collect payment for the work carried out.Ensure the customer is completely satisfied before they leave by asking for feedback so we can address any concerns or questions they may have.Prepare invoices and close repair ordersAssociated administrative tasks, which may include costing and some warranty activitiesDesired Qualifications and SkillsExperience in a customer service role, preferably where customer satisfaction is measured.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Strong customer-centric approach with a genuine desire to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.Ability to explain information in a clear and understandable manner.Professional and friendly demeanor.Exceptional organisational and time management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a small team environment.Ability to learn and effectively use our Dealer Management system, with good digital literacy.Current drivers' licence (preferably with Manual). What We OfferExtensive training in our automotive service processes through internal sources and manufacturer support.Opportunity for career growth and personal development.A supportive and collaborative team environment.About UsLocal Motor Group is a premier automotive dealership group dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and top-quality vehicles. How to ApplyIf you're passionate about delivering the highest level of customer service and want to be a part of a dynamic team, we'd love to hear from you!Please submit your resume and a cover letter explaining why you're the ideal candidate for the Service Reception / Advisor position at Local Motor Group.Local Motor Group is an equal opportunity employer.
