The Chief Technology Office is responsible for the delivery of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) services for the City. These services include infrastructure, communications, ICT policies, application management, ICT project management, enterprise architecture, and service management.The Service Management team continues to strive toward a culture of continual improvement across the key ITIL practices, with objectives and key results focused on Customer Experience, Culture and Safety, Efficiency, and leading with Data.This position is essential in driving excellence in ICT service delivery and ensuring that our city remains at the forefront of technology efficiency.About your new roleThe Service Management Improvement Officer works closely across the Service Management team, with a primary focus on continuous improvement.Building relationships and process understanding across our key ITIL practices to manage and orchestrate improvements in collaboration with our Process Owners and key stakeholders, and working with internal teams and external vendors to deliver the best value and high performance for the City of Gold Coast.We're looking for people who have:Experience in ICT service management, process improvement, and/or vendor management.Excellent project management skills with a track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams.Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.If you think you have what it takes, but don't necessarily meet all criteria, please still get in touch; we'd like to hear from you!Be part of shaping the Gold Coast's futureThe Gold Coast is inspired by lifestyle and driven by opportunity.
