About the Position The City's Customer Experience team is seeking a dynamic Business Analyst to join our Service Improvement team. In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing and elevating customer experiences within the service unit and across the city by leveraging our core CRM system.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analytics, process mapping, and requirements management for business systems, with a particular emphasis on CRM systems being highly advantageous.
This full-time contract is maximum term up to 12 months to provide secondment cover.
Key Responsibilities The duties of the Service Improvement Business Analyst will include but are not limited to:
Influence cultural behaviour and act as an effective change manager Acts as an advocate for digital initiatives and projects to enhance and evolve technology, systems and workflow across the City Support the development, facilitation and implementation of corporate strategies and procedures Develop and maintain business process documentation Engage with business units to review, analyse and document current business processes Identify issues and risks of existing and proposed solutions and outline business impacts. About You The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don't tick all the boxes, you could still be a perfect fit for this role. At least 5 years of demonstrated experience in business and process analysis, with a strong track record in requirements elicitation, documentation, and management Proven ability to establish effective working partnerships and engage with staff at all levels within the organization Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex issues and concepts related to business solutions Demonstrable knowledge in Business Process Model & Notation (BPMN) and experience in business process mapping Experience in developing user stories, wireframes, and testing new enhancements. Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques, and the ability to leverage technology to drive service improvement. For further information, please refer to the position description.
