Graduate Business Associate - Wine Industry Job Summary: If you are a recently graduated or final year university student who is looking for their first professional role, we want to talk to you. This newly created role will suit someone who has a degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Business, or even Environmental Sciences. This is a broad-based role, giving exposure to a wide range of business activities and will be tailored to suit the successful candidate. Being based at our Wayfinder Vineyard property in Cowaramup, WA, this may suit someone returning to the local area after completing their degree away from home. About the Business: Overstory is a sustainably minded and forward-thinking wine business, based at our certified organic vineyard – Wayfinder - in Margaret River, Western Australia. Our capable and friendly team works across our two properties in Margaret River - Wayfinder and the Tamar Valley, Tasmania - Small Wonder. We also work with likeminded producers from Europe and beyond, importing their wines into the Australian market, through our East-coast based distribution business, Small Story Merchants. We are looking for someone who is hard working, energetic, and enthusiastic about learning. The business is going through a significant growth period during the next 12 - 18 months, with new wineries and cellar doors being opened at Wayfinder (Cowaramup, WA) and Small Wonder (Tamar, Tas.) by early 2026. Duties and Responsibilities: We are looking for a detail-oriented, organised person to work across a range of areas in the business, including Human Resources, Sales, Logistics, and Marketing. We are offering a 12-month full-time employment contract. Key Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to learn and develop while also performing to their strengths. In this role, you will be involved in: Assisting with HR and payroll system related tasks. Supporting with recruitment and onboarding activities. Assisting with marketing promotional activities. Providing admin support to the sales & marketing teams. Supporting the sales & finance teams with company related documents and processes. General administrative support. Role Requirements: For this role, you will require: Basic to Intermediate MS Word and other standard Microsoft 365 software applications. A recognised ability for attention to detail and accuracy. Strong written and verbal communication skills. A demonstrated focus on customer service.
