We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Engineer to join our team in Perth, Australia. As a Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of our advanced fire and gas detection systems. You will also play a vital role in maintaining radar tank level management and flow meter systems. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with state-of-the-art safety technologies and provide essential services to our clients.Key Responsibilities:Install, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced fire detection, gas detection, and other safety systems.Install, maintain and troubleshoot radar tank level management systems.Install, maintain and troubleshoot flow measurement applications.Program, configure, and commission new and existing systems to ensure optimal performance.Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with modifications, diagnosing errors, and performing mandatory inspections on existing systems.Ensure compliance with all safety and operational standards during on-site service tasks.Collaborate effectively with colleagues and external customers through clear and concise communication.Assist in training co-workers and external customers to enhance overall knowledge within the team.Attend and complete prescribed training workshops & courses.Qualifications:Engineering Degree in Electrical and/or Electronics.Proven experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical/electronic and mechanical equipment.Familiarity with the operation and application of electronic equipment.Previous experience working on ships is desirable.Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.Prior experience working in a customer-oriented environment is preferred.Ability to travel - certain projects may mean lengthy periods away from home.Valid Drivers Licence.The Opportunity:
