Service/Commissioning Technician - Security

Responsibilities: ·Service and maintenance of Honeywell and third-party equipment (training provided).·Day to day servicing and maintenance.·Commissioning of pre-installed security equipment.·Configuration of security systems hardware and software.·Diagnose faults and repairs on security systems.·Software load and configuration of Honeywell EBI / DVM Systems.·Small to medium project installations including working with subcontractors.·Financial control according to previously agreed budgets and plans.·Development and maintenance of site-specific documentation and quality assurance information as instructed by Team Leader Knowledge/Skills and Abilities: ·Experience as Security Technician or Electrician, customer facing and/or similar.·Electrical experience: - Basic knowledge of electrical diagrams and electrical switching.·Commitment to customer satisfaction.·Good communication - both verbal and written.·Self-motivated and the ability to work independently without supervision.·An ability to work under pressure.·A strong commitment to safety and a safe working environment.·Ability to obtain NV1Valid driver's licence.Ability to be on call, work a rotating roster when required.
