What you'll be doing
We are seeking a highly skilled System Engineer with the ability to work in a demanding environment with an enthusiastic sense of customer support. You will need to communicate and coordinate with clients as well as other technology groups in a complex environment. The role will involve:
Delivery of technical support for the client/server environment Maintaining backups and disaster recovery tooling and capabilities Patching and upgrading supported systems in line with policy Liaise with service providers to investigate and resolve issues with supported infrastructure and applications Assist in creating and maintaining a knowledgebase of documentation such as as-builts for supported systems Ensure timely resolution of incidents against SLA

What will make you successful in this role?
Experience supporting Windows Server including DNS, AD, Group Policy, Print Management, File Services, DHCP. Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMWare, MS Hyper-V, Citrix Hypervisor, etc. Experience with converged and hyperconverged Data Centre technologies such as Dell VxRail, Nutanix HCI, etc. Experience with enterprise storage solutions such as NetApp, Dell EMC, Pure Storage, etc. Basic understanding of Azure/AWS and cloud concepts. Experience with Data protection technologies such as Veeam, Commvault, etc. Experience with patching Windows systems via MECM. PowerShell Scripting for automation. Experience with Mining Sector and Process Control Environments. Highly Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), VMware Certified Professional (VCP))
