We are seeking a capable and motivated Sentence Management Administrator to support the team at Parklea Correctional Centre.
The Sentence Management Administrator will provide administration support within the Sentence Management team working in a very high, demanding, and specialised team.
Some of the responsibilities are to: Perform administration and records management functions and services that pertain to the detention and release of inmates, either as part of a team or individually.Perform core processing work within a Sentence Administration business unit, which may include liaison with external and internal stakeholders, data integrity checking/entry, and general administrative tasks.Support a culture of quality customer service in the organisation.Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the services provided and relay to customers.Identify and respond quickly to customer needs.Consider customer service requirements and develop solutions to meet needs.Resolve complex customer issues and needs.Co-operate across work areas to improve outcomes for customers.Make effective use of records, information and knowledge management functions and systems.Understand and comply with information and communications security and acceptable use policies.Support the implementation of systems improvement initiatives and the introduction and roll-out of new technologies.Apply computer applications that enable performance of more complex tasks.Apply practical skills in the use of relevant technology.We are looking for someone who is interested in: Giving back to our community in a rewarding way and making an impact on people's lives.Supporting, leading, mentoring, and developing people who are passionate about creating change.Stable employment with an attractive remuneration package.PLEASE NOTE:
The role will be required to work under a rotating roster – and are required to work 5 of 7 days; shifts vary Monday to Friday between 7am-3pm and 12pm-8pm.
Skills & Experience:

Committed to creating change.Passionate about working within a team environment.Able to prioritise tasks to ensure completion of outcomes.Strong communicators, both verbally and in writing with the ability to articulate complex information in plain English.Able to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearances from New South Wales Police and Correctional Services New South Wales (we will assist with this process).Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (double vaccination) with proof being provided.Desirable qualifications:
