About the role We're seeking a Senior Workplace Relations (WR) Consultant to provide specialist advice on strategic and operational workplace relations matters.
You'll join an innovative People and Culture team, who are committed to fostering a lawful, ethical, and responsible workplace culture.
As our Senior WR Consultant, you'll contribute to lasting and positive changes that shape the future of our workforce and communities.

Day-to-day, you will: Provide workplace relations advice for resolving complex cases (disputes, grievances, misconduct).
Guide and coach leaders on P&C policies, practices, employment obligations.
Conduct and support the management of workplace investigations and conduct matters.
Ensure compliance with workplace legislation, regulations and various employment instruments (Enterprise Agreements, Modern Awards, common law contracts).
Support enterprise bargaining and industrial relations activities.
Manage workplace relations projects and provide SME input on other projects Advise on workplace relations matters that arise during organisational change.
This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including: Workplace Relations experience and provision of advice in a large and complex workplace setting Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline (Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Law, Commerce, Psychology, Business or similar) Legal qualification advantageous but not essential Approachable, with highly developed interpersonal skills and advanced influencing skills Ability to empathise and deal sensitively with issues which impact on employee wellbeing Knowledge of workplace and employment related legislation and regulation Experience in the development of P&C and WR related policies, procedures and guidelines Experience in interpreting and working with Enterprise Agreements, Modern Awards and Common Law Contracts People leader experience advantageous but not essential If you meet some of these requirements, but not all, we encourage you to submit your application.
