About the Business Unit:
Employee and Workplace Relations is responsible for management of the Justice portfolio's industrial relations program, the management of departmental employee relations issues, and the department's Human Resource Business Partnerships.
About the Role:
An exciting opportunity is available for experienced workplace relations specialists to join our workplace relations team. The role responsibilities include providing consultancy advice on complex human resource issues and supporting departmental managers in resolving individual employee case management issues.
Some of your duties will include:
Identifying, developing and implementing innovative case management solutions that support departmental strategy across a range of people management issues.
Providing specialist advice and coaching support to senior management on complex people management issues.
Contributing to the development and implementation of innovative people management practices across the department.
About You:
As our ideal candidate, you will possess:
High level experience in case managing a broad range of human resource issues.
Significant experience in the provision of high-level advice to deliver successful employee relations outcomes.
A specialist understanding of the legislative and industrial framework that applies to the Victorian Public Service.
Qualifications/Requirements:
A tertiary qualification in industrial relations, human resources, employment law or a related discipline is highly desirable.
