About the Role
If you are a passionate Human Resource professional with experience in the workplace relations field, this is the role for you. The industrial landscape is changing significantly as is the Aged Care sector, the combination of the two make this role challenging and evolving.
The primary purpose of this role is to offer specialist support and advice to the Workplace Relations Business Partner and People and Culture Business Partners. Building relationships with Unions is a key requirement, along with expert knowledge of Australian Legislation relevant to employment law, Aged Care Act and Modern Awards.
The role requires appearance before tribunals, case management of complex conduct matters, interpretation and coaching of the enterprise agreement into the business.
About you
Combine your well-established Human Resource experience and fascination with Industrial Relations into this wonderful opportunity in a time of unprecedented legislative change. This is a rewarding role in an organisation which is expanding the Workplace Relations function.
You will ideally bring the following:
Relevant tertiary qualifications in law, psychology, or human resources management, or equivalent
Significant experience as a senior leader in a dedicated WR/IR role or similar
Expert knowledge of Australian employment laws including Federal and State legislation, modern awards and enterprise agreements
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
Strong attention to detail, ability to work to tight deadlines in a dynamic, fast moving environment
Ability to work well with a diverse range of employees and managers
Demonstrated ability to manage conflicting priorities and workload
