About the role:Deliver specialised Ergonomic and Manual Handling clinical and consultancy services within the area of Workplace Health and Safety using evidence-based practice and high-level problem-solving skills, and actively pursuing professional development.
Specialist skills may be recognised by clinical experience, professional development activities, post-graduate or formal qualifications.Provide high level professional leadership in the development of Ergonomic and Manual Handling clinical practices, procedures and protocols to deliver effective quality services engaging cross-discipline referencing where relevant.Lead and coordinate the development and delivery and review of Manual Handling education programs for employees and provide clinical practice supervision including competency-based training and skill development to less experienced pre-entry students and employees in the Ergonomic area of Workplace Health and Safety.About you:Mandatory qualification/s: Mandatory possession of an Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy qualification from a registered tertiary institution and registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with a current annual practicing certificate is essential.Demonstrated ability to contribute to improving safety and wellbeing through the application of specialist clinical knowledge and skills in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy within an integrated and team setting, with a focus on risk management, manual handling and ergonomic evaluations and interventions, with the ability to design, deliver and evaluate training programs.What we offer:Salary information: Total remuneration value of up to $157,359 p.a.
