About the Role
As Regional Sustainability Lead, you will drive JBS Australia's dedication to sustainable and ethical practices, ensuring alignment with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards across its diverse operations in Australia & New Zealand.
Reporting directly to the Head of Corporate & Regulatory Affairs, you will develop and implement climate and sustainability strategies that resonate with both global and domestic priorities.
This strategic position also involves representing JBS Australia in high-profile stakeholder engagements and providing guidance on sustainability-related impacts during key commercial negotiations.
About You
You bring a solid academic foundation with a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, complemented by seven + years of experience in sustainability, corporate responsibility, or investor relations.
Ideally, your expertise is enhanced by industry knowledge in protein production, agriculture, or food processing.
Proficiency in sustainability reporting frameworks, environmental impact assessments, and compliance standards is essential, as is your proven ability to collaborate effectively with executives and stakeholders to advance sustainability objectives.
This role is base in the Brisbane CBD.
