We have a current opportunity available for skilled and experienced Senior Window and VM Designer to join our Marketing team and reporting to the head of store & brand experience. This is an exciting opportunity that is based within our global head office here in Brisbane, sitting within our wider marketing team.
In this role, you will be responsible for creating captivating and visually appealing displays in our Flagship and global retail network, ensuring they effectively communicate our brand's message and enhance the customer experience. Your role will involve designing and executing window rollouts, managing production, logistics & budgets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive sales and brand recognition worldwide. The successful candidate would be able to travel as required.

In this hands-on role, your main responsibilities will be: Conceptualise, design, and execute captivating and innovative window displays that align with the brand's identity.Manage budgets, timelines, logistics & QC process with suppliers to ensure consistency on production across the business – POS & VM all stores, three markets.Collaborate with external creative agencies and Graphic Designers to conceptualize visually appealing and on-brand display concepts.Implement corporate visual merchandising process and standards throughout marketing.Create best practice guidelines and campaign execution training manuals for store staff, ensuring adherence to visual merchandising standards.Present project concepts through mood boards and research packs whilst staying up to date on trends and forecastsBuild close relationships with internal marketing, merchandising and retail operations teams to ensure smooth running of all projects.The successful applicant will ideally have: Ability to be work collaboratively, balancing creativity with commercial awareness.Experience working with production houses, project managing big budgets & timelines.Excellent communication skills and presentation of ideas.Awareness of market trends and ability to produce innovative, on brand designs.Ability to work under pressure with an eye for detail.Ability to work within budget and short timelines.Confident, proactive, self-motivated and forward thinking.Strong project management and organisation skills.At Michael Hill we value commitment to our people, accountability for our actions, and pride in our brand ensures that the Michael Hill story is one of progress and innovation.
