We are currently looking for a passionate, highly dedicated and organised Sous Chef to join the team in our high volume production operation. You will be given the responsibility of supporting the Chef de Cuisine and assist with leading the team, always ensuring consistency in high quality product and service standards. 
The production kitchen at The Star Gold Coast is a perfectly coordinated operation servicing the outlets across our busy 24/7 business. Producing eye watering volumes of the highest quality food requires precision on every level. The team is loyal and experienced, and no 2 days are ever the same.
A few of your responsibilities: Monitoring of daily operations, payroll, costs, and guest satisfactionParticipate in preparation of menusDevelop training plans and support daily learningParticipate in shift briefings to ensure a smooth handoverWhat are we looking for: Senior Chef experience required in a production or Events operationExperience driving quality and consistency, with a passion for a diverse range of food and a keen desire for continuous learningPrevious knowledge of food and labour cost controlsBasic computer skills essentialFull working rights to commit to 40 hours a week which can include day shifts, evenings, weekend and public holidaysAbout you: With your passion for career growth in Culinary, this role will allow you to work alongside some of the most talented chefs on the Gold Coast!
