Senior Wellbeing Officer Hospital Outreach Post-Suicidal Engagement

Seeking a Senior Wellbeing Officer to join the Hospital Outreach Post-suicidal Engagement (HOPE) team, supporting leadership and coordination of a multi-disciplinary team delivering mental health treatment services to individuals aged 16 and over who have been referred following a suicide attempt or are experiencing acute suicidal ideation. The team provides evidence-based biological, psychological, and social interventions tailored to each person's needs and goals for up to three months. Additional work may occur outside regular business hours. Key responsibilities include coordinating and supervising staff, working closely with the Team Leader and Manager, and maintaining excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A relevant qualification in social or community service is required, along with a minimum of two years of experience working in the social, community service or welfare work areas. The position may qualify for an incentive payment of up to $20,000. The successful applicant will be required to undergo a Police Record Check, Employee Working with Children's Check, and current Immunisation status.
