Given faster than expected growth before the Christmas period and with our biggest year to date planned for 2025, we are seeking a Senior Warehouse Storeperson to join our small but dynamic and growing warehousing team.
In this newly created role reporting to the DC Manager, you will be both hands on in managing daily warehousing operations, and also ensure our team of casuals/contractors are effectively delivering in their role. 
Some of the responsibilities of the role includes:  reviewing daily operational requirements together with the DC Manager and manufacturing teams, ensuring the right stock is the right locations for picking.end to end stock control - receiving orders (trucks and FCL's/LCL's), stock control within the DC, order picking for manufacturing, storing of completed goods post manufacturing, booking orders then managing despatch. ensuring daily KPI's and goals are achieved.working in a safe and compliance manner at all times.escalating any issues together with proposed solutions to the DC Manager.assist in a number of continuous improvement project initiatives, stocktakes, systems updates etc. Your skills and experience You're ready for the next step in your career to be the senior/team lead. You will need to demonstrate: 
experience in a similar fast-paced warehousing role ideally in a manufacturing, technology or automotive parts company.knowledge of the end-to-end warehousing lifecycle from good receiving, storing, moving, picking packing and dispatching.order picking with RF scanners, updating WMS.a strong understanding of managing safety and driving best practices.being not just the hardest but smartest worker, being a role model for your team.a valid Forklift and Reach Licence.a can-do attitude, optimism and passion. Based out of our busy Tullamarine DC, you'll be working Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.30am to 4.30pm, with some overtime as needed. On offer is a competitive salary between $65,000 to $75,000 plus Super for the successful applicant.
