The market is booming! Alas, we're looking forSenior UX Designersfor multiple contract roles with a number of organisations with headquarters in Melbourne. Don't fret, these contract roles can be worked 100% remote or hybrid, it's really up to you.
So, what's the gig?Ongoing contracts starting from 6 months with the possibility of getting extended. Some designers we've placed have been there for 18-24 months on ongoing contractsMost roles are pure UX design roles, but there's also a hybrid role UX & UI as wellWe're working with multiple clients on multiple projects, so there's a mix of projects to choose from. Some projects you'll be working alongside a UI Designer, other projects you'll be the sole UX Designer and will be responsible for the entire design processSome great cash money is up for grabs. You're looking at $800-$950 per day for each contract, but it will depend on your level of experienceWhat we're looking for:A fair bit of commercial experience in UX, CX or product design. We're not concerned about your years of experience but the quality of your experience. Your mindset, set of disciplines and certain depths of your design craftAs a 'senior' you'll be expected to manage stakeholder expectations. You'll need to have previous experience in getting stakeholders on your side to get buy-inYou'll have experience delivering UX and design artefacts, whether it be a web applications, mobile apps or a complex software productA solid grasp of human-centred design, including planning and conducting user research, user testing and analyticsProven experience in iterating designs and solutions efficientlyAbility to quickly establish working relationships with those in a cross functional team, whether its Software Engineers, Product Owners, Business Analysts or QA'sA positive attitude and the ability to move quickly with changing requirementsSound like you?
