Develop, deliver and evaluate quality professional learning, support, and induction programs to improve client agency and Department of Corporate and Digital Development (DCDD) staff understanding of and ability to utilise enterprise level and business information systems to enhance the provision of Government services.Context Statement:
Agency Business Systems (ABS) manage client agencies' core business digital systems through their life cycle from strategy to design, development, release and deployment, operational delivery, maintenance, support, and retirement. Training Officers collaborate with other members of ABS to inform practice standards and ensure a multi-disciplinary and contemporary approach to the delivery of system-related training advice, services, and support.Key Duties and Responsibilities:Design, deliver and evaluate training and support programs to build the capacity of staff in client agencies and DCDD to use enterprise level and business IT systems.Facilitate, coordinate and deliver training and support to staff and client agencies across an extensive range of IT systems.Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and system owners/product vendors.Conduct user research, analyse and prepare training evaluation reports and provide recommendations for improvement.Contribute to the development and implementation of systemic policies, procedures, and projects.Support continuous improvement and a client-centered approach to service delivery.Selection Criteria:Essential:Demonstrated experience in delivering information systems training in various contexts.Ability to develop, implement and evaluate comprehensive training supporting agency-specific business systems.Effective interpersonal and communication skills.Understanding of research methodologies, data analysis, and evaluation.Ability to work as an effective team member.Experience building and maintaining productive working relationships.Demonstrated work ethic reflecting DCDD values.Desirable:Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent.Willingness to travel to remote locations within the Northern Territory.Further Information:
