Your Role: We are currently seeking a Senior Trade Overseer to join the team at the Wellington Correctional Centre.
As a Senior Trade Overseer, you will be responsible for providing leadership and mentoring to Overseers as well as supervise and develop inmates through managing, coaching, instructing and encouraging them to develop and improve on their work skills.
You will plan, schedule and oversee the activities of the team to ensure productivity efficiency and other commercial objectives are achieved whilst ensuring all Workplace Health and Safety and Quality Management requirements and customer service needs are met.

Current Driver Licence and preparedness to drive as part of the role.
Qualifications- minimum Cert 3 or Trade certificate in one or more of the following: - Warehousing or Logistics or Supply Chain or Retail or Business Management with Retail experience or Business Administration with retail experience or equivalent production/manufacturing qualification Food Safety Supervisor Certificate or willingness to undertake training.
Extensive Post trade certificate experience Experience which demonstrates the ability to meet the key accountabilities and focus capabilities as detailed in the role description.
Ability and willingness to work across trades and in a team environment as required.
Essential requirements: Current Certificate III in Correctional Practice or capacity to complete Certificate III in Correctional Practice in accordance with specified CSNSW timeframes Current NSW Driver Licence and preparedness to drive a vehicle in the course of performing the role Qualifications- minimum Cert 3 or Trade certificate in one or more of the following: - Warehousing or Logistics or Supply Chain or Retail or Business Management with Retail experience or Business Administration with retail experience or equivalent production/manufacturing qualification Pick / Pack operations experience Proven understanding of Commercial Management Systems (QMS and WHS) and the applications in the workplace.
Current Forklift licence Other Licences: Current First Aid Certificate or be willing to obtain prior to taking an offer of employment.
