Our client is a global leader within the mining sector seeking a Senior Test Engineer with experience in testing complex applications to join their growing team.
The role will be based out of their Perth CBD office, offering a hybrid work arrangement. A 6-month renewable contract or a full-time position can be considered for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:Development of automated testing procedures using CI/CD toolsCreate comprehensive testing policies, plans, and standardised reporting for both software and hardware testing across the product development lifecycleEnsure timely and accurate execution of test plans, meeting product specifications and quality standardsProvide expertise to the product team on best practices for testing, advising on effective testing approaches and methodologiesCollaborate with developers, Product Owners, and UI/UX teams to drive the adoption of best practicesMonitor key test metrics and deliver regular progress updates to business stakeholdersEstablish and refine testing frameworks and workflows for software verification and validationPrepare and communicate detailed test summary reports, findings, recommendations, exclusions, known bugs, and any outstanding requirementsRequirements:Proven experience in developing both manual and automated test scripts, using tools such as Selenium or Cypress, to reduce manual interventionIn-depth knowledge of automated software testing and hands-on experience with CI/CD environmentsFamiliarity with GitHub and experience working within CI/CD pipelinesRelevant qualifications and professional experience in software development are highly preferredTo be considered for the role click the 'apply' button or for more information about this and other opportunities please contact Nicole Oo via email: ****** and quote the above job reference number.
