Senior Test Analysts Contract

Canberra Gungahlin with some WFH 12 month contract + possible extensions Baseline Security Clearance required Our client, a small to mid sized and self funded Federal Government Department is seeking multiple Senior Test Analysts – a highly motivated Infrastructure Tester and Security Tester to join their IT Operations team.
Infrastructure Tester: Design, develop, and document test cases, plans, and scripts for testing infrastructure components such as networks, storage, and servers.
Develop automation strategies and implement tools to facilitate efficient testing processes.
Conduct functional tests to ensure the systems and components meet business requirements and specifications.
Test the incident response and disaster recovery processes to ensure business continuity during failures.
Security Tester: Design, develop, and document test cases, plans, and scripts for testing infrastructure components such as networks, storage, and servers.
Ensure that all infrastructure components adhere to security standards, compliance requirements and industry best practices.
Develop automation strategies and implement tools to facilitate efficient testing processes.
Conduct functional tests to ensure the systems and components meet business requirements and specifications.
Technical skills: Knowledge of testing methodologies including automation and infrastructure testing tools.
Experience and knowledge of infrastructure components including networks, servers, storage, firewalls, virtualised and cloud environments.
A strong understand of the ISM cyber security framework and compliance requirements.
Capability to quickly diagnosing issues and propose effective solutions.
