6 + 3 + 3 month contract - Immediate Start $90 - $105 per hour (inc-Super) Baseline Security Clearance Mandatory North Canberra Address Our client, a Federal Government Organisation who provide housing and related services to Defence members and their families, are seeking the experience of a Senior Test Analyst (Data & Web Apps) for a 6 + 3 + 3 month contract, based in Canberra, ACT.
Duties of the Senior Test Analyst (Data & Web Apps) Analysis and testing of new and existing IT systems to support the business using appropriate standards, methodologies and toolsets. Provide expert advice and assistance to system users, investigate complex issues and determine business impact and recommend solutions. Skills and Experience Required Solid understanding of various testing methodologies and principles. Experience of functional testing for web and data applications. Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to work duties. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex database relationships. Demonstrated ability to manage own time effectively to meet project, team and organisational needs. High-level analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to widen discussion, identify issues or suggest solutions. Demonstrated experience with various testing techniques including technical or non-technical test scripts. Ability to understand both technical and functional aspects of the software solution and learn new technologies quickly.
