This role is in the headquarters in Sydney CBD.
There are approximately 160 staff based in the 4,000sqm facility today, scheduled to grow to approximately 300 staff by end of 2026.
Overseas on the ground presence includes Virginia (USA), Denmark, Germany and Dubai, as well as distributors in over 70 countries globally.
About the role The company is seeking a Senior Front End Engineer with strong Typescript & REACT experience to join the Engineering team in Sydney.
Responsibilities, Duties and Expectations Design and develop the current systems to increase functionality and usability Build features and improvements from conceptualisation to realisation working closely with the software engineering team Take operational responsibility for the services and code base that you will develop Qualifications, Experience and Skills BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience Between 3 and 5+ years' experience in software development Experience working with at least one modern TypeScript framework, React is ideal Experience working with two or more from the following: web application development, Unix/Linux environments, distributed and parallel systems, developing large software systems, and/or security software development Experience using REST APIs Experience developing microservices infrastructure is ideal Previous 'start-up' or 'scale-up' experience is favourable Familiar with Docker, Postman, GitLab, AWS is favourable You are a lifelong learner.
You're self-taught and continuously learning.
